Pre-Filtering:
This above-ground pool pump and filter is equipped with a pre-filtering strainer basket. This design ensures that larger debris is screened out before it can enter the filtration system, thereby protecting the filter and extending its lifespan.
Durability and Capacity:
The pump features a double-reinforced, 13-inch molded tank that can hold up to 44 pounds of sand. This capacity makes it an ideal choice for pools up to 10,000 gallons (such as pools measuring 24'x12'x52", 22'x12'x48", or 20'x52").
Compatible with Filter Balls
Enhanced Filtration:
Our pool sand filter is designed to work with polyester pool filter balls in addition to sand. Filter balls have a stronger adsorption capacity and faster filtration speed compared to traditional filter media, ensuring that water is clean and clear.
Flow Rates:
The pump has a flow rate of 1,850 gallons per hour, while the system flow rate is 1,370 gallons per hour when using 44 pounds of sand, and 1,580 gallons per hour with 1.2 pounds of filter balls. With this setup, a 18'x48" circular pool can be completely filtered in just 4 hours. Please note that sand and filter balls are not included.

The 7-way multi-port allows for easy and quick back-washing (Filter, Backwash, Winter, Re-Circulate, Closed, Rinse, and Waste). The recirculation mode facilitates water circulation without passing through the sand or filter balls, making it easier to treat pool water chemically.
